Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park


         t was established on 29 September 1987 and covers an area of 5532 acres It is one of the largest zoo parks in Asia
     
 Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park: This Zoological park is situated in the outskirts of the abode of the Lord of Seven Hills, Sri Tirumala Balaji Of Tirupati. The zoo is about 12kms from the Renigunta railway station. Once you are near the Bus stand or the railway station Go down the road towards KapilaTeertham, then to Alipiri Circle.
           From there instead of going ahead towards Tirumala, take the road towards Bangalore where you will see the Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park on your right.
       
    Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh is nothing like the zoos you  would have seen in your lifetime. To understand why, you need to comprehend the theme around which the park has been created. Located at the foot of Seshachalam Hills, Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park extends over a huge area of over 5500 acres. Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park is 12 km from the Tirupati Railway Station and 31 km from the airport. From here the Central Bus Station is also 12 km away. This unique park is located in Kadapa and Chittoor Districts of Andhra Pradesh.
